Paragliding Spots - DANGER, ATTENTION!
-
With regard to the legal relevance of airspace and the associated legal consequences, which must be taken very seriously – me as a longterm Premium member ask you to PLEASE adjust your interface and no longer obtain data form Paragliding Earth.
At least for Europe there are way better and legal proof sources – as far as possible.
But alot of paragliding spots listed on Windy are highly dodgy - often violating CTR´s, civil and military airspaces.
I personally love to take your spots as a reference, but they turn out to be "not flyable" in many cases.
You do have a certain responsibility with your database and you can adjust - now that you have the info. Let´s see if this is taken seriously - because - Paragliding Earth is not the solution.
If paragliding pilots refer to your data and fly at spots like Santander, Spain | Nazaré, Portugal and many other false listed spots - the consequences are intense. We're speaking of fines that exceed €10,000 and more, such as prison sentences and of cause withdrawal of the flight licence for lifetime.
You can do it! Take the help of the community - as you see - people care for it.

@waldbrand Hi, thank you for your message. We are open to consider any other or better source for this type of data, so I would like to ask you to provide any sources, you know, that we can consider as a replacement for Paragliding Earth.
Thank you in advance. -
@Ondřej-Šutera First of all - thanks a lot for getting back on the subject so quickly.
For Europe – this is the most reliable source I know with highly precise and responsible information:
https://www.dhv.de/db3/gelaende/
If you need assistance in terms of communication with the DHV (which is the umbrella organisation for paragliding in Germany), let me know - they also would be very interested to publish only legal information/ spots.
For the rest of the world - I don´t know – but if not here in this community, where else to find the good answers. And I´ve been browsing through several communications here where people do seem to have a good knowledge about their countries and local conditions.
But even that I am willing to discover if you're seriously intend to bring your database to the next level.
Thanks a lot!
