Whether client or system vendor should subscribe
-
We are a Japanese system vendor developing a trading system for a trading company.
At the request of the trading company, we are planning to display information retrieved from windy API on the screen of our system in order to visualize the operational status and risks of the vessels carrying their cargo.
In this case, can the trading company sign a paid subscription agreement with windy and use our account (API Key) for development and operation? Or will our company need to subscribe? -
@kohei-kawai Hi there, we outsource purchase process of API to Fastspring, so we don't offer any other option than the subscription. More info here.

@Ondřej-Šutera
Thank you but what I would like to know is not method of contract other than subscription, but if it is ok for our client, a trade company, to subscribe, pay a fee and let us use their API Key for development, in terms of account usage rights. -
@kohei-kawai I discussed this matter with colleagues and there is no issue to use the API key of the customer by your side to develop the product.

Very clear. Thank you!
