Radiation levels - rationale

Just wondering why radiation station levels are now standard on the app map. Are radiation levels a worldwide problem? Are we anticipating nuclear war?

@jasons47 Hi, do you mean icon for nearest AirQuality and Radiation stations when the forecast is open? According to a question why did we implement it, I would say why not. It was decision of the product team and I think and hope there is no nuclear danger related.

@Ondřej-Šutera Yes, that’s what I was referring to. I was thinking it might reinforce the phobia some people have towards nuclear power plants but maybe less so among the users of Windy.
