Portugal and Spain false rain radar layer
-
The rain radar over Portugal and Spain has been showing a false circular layer for over a week. It’s the same on most apps and websites, so maybe a glitch at central national meteorological service? But making it impossible to read incoming rain…

Thanks @Filip_K for the confirmation, much appreciated. I see, so it’s the Spanish met office radar… They must be aware, but odd they haven’t rectified the feed for a week. From experience, any idea how long this sort of thing could last?

Hi @PhilJP. It might never happen. National Met Offices sometimes don't really care about radar interference above other country. They might not be able to get rid of the interference if it comes from that said country (like wifi for example).
I have disabled that part of Spanish data above northern half of Portugal as it is covered by Portuguese radar at Arouca.
This is what it looks like now (and comparison with previous state):

Wow @Filip_K - that’s great! Thanks so much
