Air Quality

Air Quality differ with wide swings with different reading close as In mileage. How is that possible. Can you explain that. One reading high another 10 miles away low. I’m confused. Thanks in advance

Please give precise example.
It is not surprising that Air Quality stations provide very different values even at short distance. Air quality depends on a lot a factor, like the terrain (valley vs higher location), proximity of pollutant industries or high traffic roads…
