Wind gust in Compare Screen
-
I've noticed that wind gust data, a crucial aspect of weather forecasting, seems to be absent in this section. Many community members, in various topics, have pointed out this omission. Some replied it is due to some weather models not containing this information.
However, I believe there's a viable solution to this. For instance, in situations where the ICON model forecasts fewer days than other models, it is still included with empty columns for the missing days. Following this logic, could we not adopt a similar approach for wind gust data? Perhaps we could introduce an option or a switch that allows users to view wind gust information when it is available from certain models, while understanding that it might be absent in others.
This feature would significantly enhance the user experience for those of us who rely heavily on detailed wind information for various purposes. I am sure many in the community would appreciate having this additional layer of data available.
Thank you for your continuous efforts in making Windy a comprehensive and user-friendly weather forecasting tool.

Hi @Ponyo-Nauta ,
you can compare wind gusts in the Wind tab of the forecast detail like here: https://www.windy.com/50.090/14.420/wind?map,49.510,12.985,8 -
@nesro True, that is useful, thank you. However that view does not include rain and temperature. In my opinion, the compare views is very close to being able to display all the information while keeping clarity.
