CalyxOS and WebGL

I've been waiting months to be able to use Windy on my CalyxOS phone again regularly running updates to the system and app, but I can check everything but weather radar.
I see multiple threads about this saying it's out of Windy's hands. Is there any plans to address this? Considering it works in browser on the same phone and CalyxOS is completely open source, I'm not sure why this couldn't be addressed.
Do Calyx users just need to find a new weather app? I've been using Windy for about 4 years, but I'll have to switch if I can check radar easily because thats the biggest feature I use.

Calyx seems to have a bug on their site, but it also looks like a fix has already been implemented.
