It would be useful to have a visual on this when planning and during passage.</p>

Yes, I know that. But a comfortable passage depends on several factor other than wave period.</p>
<ul>
<li>If you are sailing upwind or downwind when wind waves are significant.</li>
<li>If you are facing a cross sea, with wind waves direction and swell direction near 90° From each other (same with swells themselves).</li>
<li>If you get a current opposite to the waves</li>
</ul>
<p dir="auto">In fact the steepness of waves would be the main criteria, given by the significant height / wave length (wave length being to some extend linked to the waves period).</p>

A swell period above 10s is probably comfortable for most vessels but below this it would be useful to see it. Bear in mind that wave period in the Mediterranean sea is anywhere between 2 and 8 secs generally.<br />

It is just more info to judge how comfortable or uncomfortable the passage will be. Obviously the length of vessel and speed plays a part with wave or swell period. The info is there it would just be nice to see it.</p>

No it is possible to include the wave period in the Route planner.<br />
Could you tell us why you need to have this parameter added in the planner diagram?</p>
