Low Temperature and Default Model
-
I'm wondering why Windy still has not incorporated a quick view of the low temperature yet? I know this has been requested in the past, I would guess a few times. This seems like a pretty basic and typical feature of any weather app. I shouldn't have to click into the hourly and scan the hours to find the low temperature unless I'm trying to specifically figure out what time that takes place. It has the high temperature, why doesn't the low temp display right next to or below it?
Can we get a default weather model as an option in the start-up options? I know selecting the Start-up layer as "Use last overlay" sort of does this, but it's not perfect. For example, if I close the app with HRRR and Wind it opens correctly upon next open. But if I close with HRRR and Radar, it opens up with Radar and ECMWF. I also don't think it's very good user experience to always close the app with my preferred startup settings. If I prefer to open the app with temperature and HRRR, but there is currently a storm system moving through so I've got the radar open and am switching between models to compare forecasts. I shouldn't have to switch back to my preferred start-up layer and model just to ensure it opens with those the next time I open the app.
Windy is a great app with some amazing features and more data than any other app out there. But it is shocking to me how it's missing these basic features which has led to a frequently annoying user experience.

Second vote for adding forecast model to preferred startup settings.
