Live cams switched to slideshows?

We are webcam API users and noticed that a majority of cams have switched from live feeds to slide shows. Is this a configuration or parameter we can update in our request to retrieve live cams, or was this a decision made by Windy?

In the example above, pressing play in the embedded player on Windy's map UI shows single pictures captured.

However, if I press live stream button below the player it shows a live stream from the site

Is the embeddable live stream url not available via API?

Access to the live stream feed is possible through player.live when it is available.
But we do not own the live-stream player. So clicking the play button will open the live stream feed on a new page, as illustrated in the example below.

@caldrjir Interesting. Any idea why Windy often shows the "timeline player" vs the live player even though the live player is available on the provider's website? Is this a feature of the premium API?

@jakecreps HI, basically, it is technically difficult to get live players in all cases, where they are available. However, if you know about any webcam that offers this and it is not in Windy, you can anytime report this directly in Windy.
