WMO historic data
-
I am having difficulty using the reported historic data user interface. For any selected WMO station, the timestamp (top left) in the grey data bar and the associated data displayed does not correspond with the date / time position of the yellow vertical cursor on the summary graphic. The timestamp appears to be 17 hours earlier than the cursor position. Also, the vertical cursor cannot be moved closer than about 24 hours from the most recent reported WMO station data on the right hand side of the summary graphic. Similarly, it is not possible to move the cursor to the earliest date / time at the left end of the summary graphic.
I might be using the historic data facility incorrectly, but this odd display behaviour renders it unuseable.

@Johnsoady
Please could you tell us what device you are using? Is it with the mobile app? -
@idefix37 thanks for the quick response. I'm using the app on an iPad Air on OS 17.1.2.

@Johnsoady
Ok I get the same behaviour on iPad too.
In fact the use in landscape mode is no longer correct. So you need to turn your device in the portrait mode. -
@idefix37 I have checked my other Apple devices and the mobile app works okay on my iPhone and also okay via the browser on MacBook and desktop. So it appears just to be a problem on the Apple silicon iPad.

@idefix37 Same issue in portrait and landscape.

@Johnsoady
For me in portrait mode at least the dates in the gray banner and in the diagram match, but it is not possible to scroll the diagram panel to the right end . -
@idefix37 Yes that's the problem, except on my iPad the time stamp above your red arrow is 17 hours out.
-
@idefix37 to be more precise, the time stamp in the grey box is 17 hours earlier than the time position of the vertical cursor.

@Johnsoady
Could you show a screenshot please. -

@Johnsoady
Your screenshot is in landscape mode, correct? Mine is in portrait mode. This prevents the date bug and allows scrolling a bit more to the right end.
But it does not solve the issue -
@idefix37 yes agree
