Miksi palvelu näyttää paikka kohtaisen lämpötilan väärin? Esim lähellä oleva virallinen mittausasema ja paikkakunta kohtainen lämpötila, virhe voi olla jopa 6-8 °C?

@Ondřej-Šutera Example right now 5.1. 2024 8:54 AM official weather station temperature is -23,7 °C in Hämeenlinna katinen, my home city Hauho, on map shows temperature only -20 °C?? Why there is so big gap on temperatures on real temperature, and i have seen much bigger gaps, maybe 6-8°C

You compare the temperature as forecast by a weather model to the temperature observed at a weather station. A prediction of a weather parameter cannot be always identical to the reported one.
If you compare the different weather models available at Windy, you’ll see that there are not forecasting the same temperature. Have you tried to compare them? You’ll see at your location that some models are may be better than the default model used in Windy.
You don’t say what is the weather station that you are referring to. -
@idefix37 Example now 17:36 5.1.2024 outside temperature is -17°C and windy show 1°C, i think this is too big gap to be a reliable weather service.

Could you say where you observe these temperature discrepancies in order that we can check that and what weather station you refer to? -
@idefix37 Hi, those temperatures was in Finland, Hämeenlinna, Hauho, 61.176, 24.567, hope this helps. Right now 10.01.2024 15:33 windy shows right temps.

Hi, I find that temperature forecasts at Hämeenlina weather station were quite good compared to the reported temperatures by this station.
Observation vs forecast is a feature available to Premium users. So You can’t use it. It shows that temperature discrepancies were very low during the 7 last days.
However Hauho is 20km from Hämeenlina.
