If the source page imagine link is way too dark showing a dark or complete black screen, windy will not upload them possibly due to compliance with current regulations regarding privacy. Windy webcam is primarily for weather conditions.
Windy cannot identify/verify on what content it is as it could be something private, indoors or advertising, (even if it’s not). Windy has started to ceased updating some nighttime webcam since February 18th 2022 at 12:00pm UTC time with more webcams included after late May 2023, and represented the biggest and largest cut in nighttime webcams in the windy webcam/webcam.travel/lookr.com history.
Windy also has been disabling/deleting webcams that are just showing or has started to show private indoors or just advertising from 2022 onwards.
Do note that windy can automatically disable/delete webcams without being submitted by a non-eligible person at any time without any warning if windy detects that it’s content appears to go against windy terms and services which you will lose the benefits of free timelapse showing the last 24 hours, 30 days, 12 months and lifetime. You may not be able to appeal disable/delete webcams that went against windy terms and services. The owner of the webcam will receive an email that their webcam has been disabled with the following reason of been inactive, privatized, private, not enough landscape, indoors and other listed reasons.
