Hello @Caefix, we are planning to remove this feature for recording animations, since there is a low usage and it needs a complete update.

@Ondřej-Šutera :( It´s a fine feature. I would prefere the complete update - or living with some bugs.
Today I got a small download for OffM. Animations with OffM in the background got published, ( https://i.windy.com/a/548xr/5n3djd.mp4 ) the map as above with an online mode sized map sadly never. -

It seems that the grey popup gets stuck and recorded, when the window is shared too fast. The animations inside must be finished first. -
@Caefix Unfortunately this is one of known issues at the moment. We are sorry about it.

(Once happened during recording.) Btw. My largest saved & published file was 15.002 kb.

Well, I had never expected, that I ever will miss an error.
The missing animation feature has been good enough for ~4 years and would still be (in my opinion).
Possible known mistakes at user´s end:
- Mouse moved to wrong places, klicks in wrong order or too fast.
- Browser is a window, not in full-screen-mode.
=> Code greps unusable values for width, height and offset for the graphic´s buffer. - Created files too large, extend ~15mb.
The National Hurricane Preparedness Week: May 5-11, 2024 (US) is nearly over.
I´ll keep the debugger helmet and loupe in range of coverage...
