My Windy app used to show lightning strikes on both the satellite and radar maps, with a toggle for turning the visibility on or off. However, after an update, the lightning has disappeared, as well as the toggle. Using the app on a different device shows the lightning but with no toggle (same version on both devices, 40.1.2).

Since I'm already here and criticizing, the switch to Real from Blitzortnung added a lot of false positives to the screen, lightning where there are no clouds over WIDE swaths all across the northern coast of Australia. This may be a function of a small number of receivers to discriminate positions. We went from underrepresentation to way over, and I prefer the Blitz criteria. I'm not worried about a little storm, it's the embedded ones that will get me in trouble. Thank you sincerely, Windy community, for what you have produced. You could try going to the desktop web version and select Radar and see if it is on there. Turn it on if not. Hopefully this will be saved in the cloud and it will start working in the mobile version. Worth a shot.
