Can I ask why the wind speed colours or forecast wind gusts Wind Map.JPG gusts change colour between sea and land.

This is because the wind is much stronger on the sea than on the land. On land there are many obstacles that slow the wind (forest, buildings, hills and mountains…). Colours show the wind speed according the colour scale.
