Hello @Rares, did you try to readd the widget?

@Suty That worked actually! That was the only thing I did not try.

Would it be possible to do this through the settings in the widget itself? A "Reset" button in the widget settings?

@Rares I think it was stucked only and it shouldn't happen again, however, we will consider this.

Hi, the issue came back by itself today, still sounds like a bug to me. Probably with scaling/DPI

@Rares Okay, thank you for informing us. I will discuss this with my colleague.

@Rares Hi. Unfortunately this is caused by android OS which limits memory usage for widgets. Static image should be fine, however animation is blurry caused by loading multiple pictures. Animated widget scales down images to fit the memory limit.

@MarkNagy i get that, but I didn't see it on my Pixel 7. The display on the 8 Pro does have a higher resolution, but not high enough to explain the difference if you ask me?

If it's an android issue it needs to be raised through the developer channels to Google so they fix it or add an option to not do what you mentioned

Why isn't anyone addressing this? The widgets still look like crap

Seems like nobody is willing to put in the time to fix this. Such a shame, really
