Indeed, some answers from the thread you mention (like adding Swiss model), didn't make much sense...

Regarding LSM, we have information from JMA that it should be 18h long from March 2024, which would make it much more useful than current 10h.

LSM seems the best model focusing this area.

With 2km resolution but 10h forecast only, with 24 runs per day !

MSM with 5km resolution could be an alternative for longer forecast.

The domains of these 2 models seems quite similar.

But I’m not living in this area.
