WiFi Logger based PWS not reporting data on Windy
-
I have multiple weather stations (PWS) in Pakistan reporting data from Davis stations using meteobridge and WiFi loggers V2. However, last year the PWS reporting data from WiFi Loggers suddenly disappeared and stopped reporting data without any notice from Windy. On other hand, PWS using Meteobridge continue to work. Would you inform me what has happened? Do I need to create a new API Key? I attempted in April 2023 for my WiFi Logger based PWS to work with Windy, but they continue to not send any data to Windy. Solutions to this problem is welcomed.

@Zaeem-Khalid Could you please check your stations at stations.windy.com?

@Suty Hello Suty,
In another attempt to get the WiFi Logger V2 station to come online. We are experiencing an error. This is strange because the same API Key is working on meteobridge stations. We know the WiFi Logger is working just fine because its uploading data to other websites such as Wunderground. -
@Zaeem-Khalid Can you send the link to that station in Windy?

@Suty Please find the link requested:

@Zaeem-Khalid Unfortunately, I checked this station and there are no data sent to Windy from this one.
Can you check the implementation to Windy?

@Suty Hello,
This is what I am experiencing as a problem with WiFi Loggers V2 ever since Windy made some update on their end. Do I need a new API Key? The process of Windy.com export is super simple, we have entered the API Key and Station ID and enabled it as demonstrated in the screen shot. In fact, it was working in 2022. Could you please inquire internally what have you done on your end to cause this issue? It is working on Wunderground.com so we know the WiFi Logger V2 is working just fine.

@Zaeem-Khalid I am not aware of any changes but the API token could expire if you use it that long.

@Suty but that doesn't explain why it won't work on WiFi Loggers V2 but is working on meteobridge weather stations that I have.
