Can anyone tell me what height the predicted wind speeds are by default?

I am aware that generally wind speeds increase with elevation, therefore it would be good to know if Windy says 14m/s at a particular location, does it take into account the elevation of the location?

Hi,
Wind forecast is at surface, more exactly at 10m above ground surface.
So if you are at 1500m asl, the wind forecast will be at this location, at this elevation.
However with the Altitude slider you can check the wind speed at different levels, in free atmosphere, not close to the ground.
