      Hi,

I would find it extremely useful, if the color scale at the bottom would automaticaly adjust to the displayed data on the map at the chosen zoom level. Or, if one could at least have different scale options to choose from.

It would be much easier to see differences when zoomed in. For example wave height:There is no sense in having a scale bar that runs from 0 ft all the way to 60 ft+, when the desired zoom level of the map shows 0-6ft

No sure. To see the detailed color scale for Waves, go to Settings > Customize color scale > Waves

But you can customise this color scale:

Yes I know you can customize the colors and that already makes a huge difference. But it doesn‘t change the fact, that very often, the colours ( and therefore the values) in the map are not really visible or recognizable by just looking at the the scale.

For example in the picture, the wave height in the map could be anything between 8 and 15 ft according to the color scale at the bottom.

Yes, but for me the best way is to make a discrete (non-continuous, not smoothed) scale. As for example I did here:

Thanks. Yeah, good idea. I will play around a little more with the color coding.
Even though, I would still find an adjusted scale useful.

If you look at my customised color scale for wind in Beaufort degrees, you see what I mean with not smoothed colors.

I never use the picker because I remember the colors as they are not blended (or just a little).

                Another example
