      Hello Windy!

Re: “Weather radar”. The combinations of the three time settings (12h, 6h, 1h) together with the three speed settings (tortoise, hare, horse) are no longer functioning correctly. This problem started within the last 12 hours. Hard to explain … almost like the options are mirror-imaged. (time settings affecting speed, and the speed settings affecting time) Also, the moving yellow ball (now) never goes back more than halfway to its usual starting point (far left) on the animation bar. The “Satellite” scrolling options are still working as expected.

      Thanks!
      RRWier

@rrwier Hi, can you please specify the issue? I cannot see anything wrong with speed or duration buttons in any of my browsers.

@Suty I'm seeing an issue as well, maybe same as @rrwier .

The progress bar, or whatever it is called, has a red color section at the end. The marker of time only moves within that red portion. The length of the red portion changes when the time frame (12, 6, 1 hours) is changed. At 12 the length of the red portion is shortest; and at 1 it is longest. Regardless, the time frame seems to be one hour regardless of the selection.

I'm using a Mac. I've tried on Edge and Safari and the behavior is the same. I have closed and re-opned the browsers and also restarted the Mac.

I should add, one time the behavior seemed to be normal when I had been in another tab and I switched back to the Windy tab, just that once. In the course of playing with it I refreshd the browser several times and the odd behavior returned and continued. Whatever triggered the return to normal behavior, I haven't been able to cause it again on purpose.

EDIT: I just figured out that other views seem to be fine. I tried Satellite and the behavior is as it should be.

Here is what the progress bar looks like:

@Suty Thanks for the quick feedback. I am probably unable to explain my problem any better than my original post. With three (3) speed settings (tortoise, hare, and horse) taken together with three (3) duration settings (12h, 6h, and 1h), there are nine possible combinations of speed and duration. For me, the results of any of these nine (9) combinations appear differently than expected (normal). This has only begun in the last 12 hours, or so.
            Thanks,
            RRWier

@Suty I believe that user "aih" has the same problem.

@aih @rrwier According to this new red line, as you can see, it is newly added feature that shows prediction of the radar data movement in the next hour. So that is the reason why it is changed to the small part on timeline, when you switch between 1h, 6h and 12h.

You are right that you need to switch between the white and red line to choose between existing and predicted data. It was a decision of the product team.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

                  @Suty THANKS!!!

The red/white animation bar represents a choice of two options!! Now, it all makes sense!

@Suty Thanks. No other questions. I guess I missed an announcement, and it didn't occur to me to click on the white portion.

Not really user friendly, not very beautiful (looks like a failure)... A lot of good ideas in your website, but this one definitely not part of it !

My laptop is seeing this also, but my Samsung mobile is as it was before without the red future line.
thanks for explaining how to use this new feature @Suty.
I must have missed the update on the how to use this new bit of kit.
