<![CDATA[Hide “Open in App” banner on Safari ?]]>Is there a way to switch off or hide the “Open in Windy App” banner when viewing in Safari ?

iPhone just updated to IOS 17.3 and banner is obscuring large part of screen.

I do not want to use App as I open multiple versions of Windy at same time to view weather (wind) conditions at various locations for sports activities.

It never occurred to me to just remove the app but you’re right, the banner disappeared once I did - PERFECT !

Do you have the app installed? I think if you don't it doesn't display this.

Another way to remove these things is to install AdGuard for Safari. It allows you to select various UI elements on the page and not display them. I use this on some sites to remove annoying UI elements.
