Names of towns that are long

Could you either shorten (abreviate) Londonderry to Derry or move the name off coast, with an arrow, as it is blocking most of Donegal. I'm in Gweedore and I can't make out what's happening from here to Letterkenny, as the London is blocking our area.
Also, it's Derry to us in the Freestate, I thought that this was an Irish app, just wondering, and if I'm wrong, forgive my ignorance to this fact.
