Route Planning Bug

Since I can't use my Premium account (DariusM) due to an app bug, I'm writing from my free account.
I would like to report a Route Planning bug. When I add multiple waypoints on the map and choose the Car/Hike option, it only shows a straight line and some of the selected waypoints disappear (pictures attached). Which makes this Route Planning feature unusable for hiking activities.

The aim of the Route Planner feature is not to allow you to track your route on the TMB trail, but to predict the weather you are likely to experience. Windy does not say it is a navigation app. It not a bug, but if Windy can solve your issue, why not.
In addition, the weather forecast is based on the ECMWF model with a resolution of 9 km. Missing a few small turns will not change the accuracy of the weather forecast. -
Then a word Hike should be removed from the Route Planning feature as it is misleading. You don’t walk in straight lines in the mountains or anywhere else.
P.S. I know it’s not a navigation app, but it has a Route Planning feature which should work correctly. -
It is not planning the route, it is planning the weather on the route. No sailors or aviator would rely on this feature to plot their route.
May be Route planner or Route planning is misleading. In Windy app it is named Distance & planning. -
@dariusmil According to the hiking, we want to offer weather prediction during your hike trail, but most probably weather won't differ with such small steps.
However, we know about this issue and it will be probably fixed in version 42, planned for the March 2024.

I have one more question. Are you guys planning to add more weather forecasts models to Distance And Planning in the future?
ECMWF model isn’t very accurate in the Alps region. Would be great to have a possibility to choose Meteoblue model too. -
@dariusmil At this moment, there are no plans for this implementation.
