What happened to Windy Widgets on Mac

What the heck happened to my subscription plan for Windy.com app booted up my Mac and no more widgets on the screen and some other app with different icon called Windy.app what's going on here none of my subscription I PAID are recognized as very being paid, its like this company Windy.com changed there name to Windy.app and screws your subscription, I hope Apple is watching and I hope I'm wrong

Hi @Russell-Kling, we are still Windy.com and you probably downloaded wrong app only, or if you talk about the AppStore on the Mac, we decided to remove our app from this store, since we offer web app with recent updates and for now, there is no possibility to use Windy.com installed on the Mac, since there were high number of issues that needs to be solved.

@Suty That's not very good to get a subscription with the features you liked and now you took them away, why did you do this removing the app from the store removed a key feature for me, do you have any plans on bringing this back? Did you not like paying Apple, why were the widgets removed from the Mac desktop?

@Russell-Kling The app was removed almost a year ago. The reason was the fact that we are not able to update this version. However, there is a plan to get it back, but I am not able to tell you when.
Regarding Apple, we still offer app for iPhone and iPad, also we offer our web app, that is available in all browsers.
Widgets in your Mac can be used. If you use our app on your iPhone and your Mac uses same AppleID, then you can add widgets on the Mac remotely from iPhone.

@Suty Your saying if I use it on my iPhone I can have the Widgets available how do I make this work?

@Suty Hello again same problem back again was working for a long time I could see the widgets on my Mac Sonoma 14.5 the last time I talked to you they seemed to come back after we conversed together, this has happened before with Windy.com app.
I spent over an hour 1/2 with Apple support and they made sure I was log in with the same Apple ID I purchased the apps with and still nothing. I really like the widgets you provided is why I’m going thru the effort to get them back.
What is going on, please assist

@Russell-Kling @Suty Well, this just happened to me today. I was literally looking at the widgets a couple hours ago and now, boom, they're gone. I have the app loaded on my phone, but I can't install the app from the App Store. It appears gone. I was going to install on my M2 as you can do with apps.
Help? I absolutely LOVE this app as I am a meteorologist. And, I just renewed my subscription.
