Forecast temperatures are lower because your location is surrounded by mountains. The weather models in your area have a resolution of 10 km approx. This means your local temperature is interpolated between points located in mountain.

It is similar to Queenstown where there is a WMO weather station, not far from your location. This town near a lake is also surrounded by mountains. The “Forecast vs observation “ feature shows that Meteoblue is the model displaying the smallest error. This model is not available as a map, but it is available in the forecast table. Try it.
