No option to create alerts

Nowhere in the help does it actually state how to create an alert. There's no obvious button for it anywhere. Please advise.

Enter a location in the search bar, save it as Favorite in the small heart just at right. Then set an alert for this Favorite.
Remember to set only one condition for the alert. -
@idefix37 Seems that for existing favourites you have to tap the heart icon as if you're unfavouriting it, which then pops up the option for alerts. If I can offer feedback, that's an awful bit of UI design. A separate bell button is needed.

I'm banging my head against the wall here? Hope do I look at my current alerts and change them?
It's not intuitive at all. I'm sure I did it before on the app. Can't find it now. Please can someone screenshot some help.

To view your Alerts, click on your profile picture to open your list of Favorites.
Then on the small pencil next to each Favorite name to view and edit the details of each Alert.
