Subscription Not Appearing in Apple Subscriptions
-
@Jesse-Ulmer Hi there, if you purchased Premium via AppStore, you should see the plan in subscriptions or purchases on your AppStore. It depends if you paid for our annual subscription or one-time purchase for a year.
-
@Suty Thanks for responding. I can't remember which one I paid for. Is there a way to tell which type I paid for? The only thing I can see in my profile in the app is that "current subscription is prepaid until: Apr 19, 2024 at 04:22 pm." Thanks for helping me.

Your answer is not clear. What will it say if it's an annual subscription? If the account only says it's been prepaid until a specific date, does that mean it is NOT an annual subscription?
These answers are important to know before I subscribe also.

@Jesse-Ulmer I checked your account in Windy and you have annual subscription, renewed every year and you subscribed via AppStore. So if you want to manage it in any way, you need to handle that there on your end.
-
@Aminacal Hi, we offer two types of Premium, annual one and for a year. The first one is subscription renewed automatically every year, until you cancel it. The second one is one time purchase for a year without renewing or any saving your card online.

@Suty, Thank you for checking on my subscription type and getting back to me. It is not appearing in my Apple account subscriptions anywhere, so I'm not sure what to do. I open the app, click on My Subscription, and it goes to my subscription page, but Windy does not appear. I've tried everything I can think of. At this point, I feel a bit trapped in my subscription with no apparent way out of it. Do you have any other suggestions? Do I call Apple customer service in this situation? Have you run into this issue before with other customers? Sorry for being a bother.
-
@Jesse-Ulmer Okay, this is strange, so you don't see any active subscription on your iPhone in Settings --> Apple ID --> Subscriptions?
-
@Suty Hi again, I finally figured it out. For whatever reason, Apple wouldn't allow me to manage my subscription via my phone. I decided to try to try one more thing. I logged into the app store on my laptop, and the subscription appeared there. Why it didn't appear on my phone, I don't know, but if you encounter another customer with a similar issue, have them try to log into the app store on their laptop rather than trying to manage via an iPhone. Anyway, got it sorted, thanks for your help.

@Suty No, it does not appear on my phone, but it does appear when I log in with the same Apple ID credentials on my laptop. Odd.

@Jesse-Ulmer It is possible that you used Apple ID credentials or Apple login button to access your Windy Premium, did you try that on your mobile device?
