Charts for all layers
-
Hi,
I love Windy, to the point I renewed my subscription but there is probably just one thing I'm missing.
It's the ability show the data of all different layers on graphs, like in the basic forecast or meteogram when selecting a point on the map.
Windy is a goldmine of data, it's there and deserve to be displayed in graphs I would say (I love graphs ^^).
To take an example, to check how humidity or UV index is evolving during the day, we have to use the whether picker and then use the navigation bar at the bottom play or to select the time for which we want the forecast.
It would be way easier to visualize this evolution instantly and directly in a graph, don't you think?
And it's probably true for all layers. So, I'm even almost surprised it's not already a thing, maybe I'm missing an obvious technical/legal reason why it's not.
Anyway, thanks for this tool which is already the best! :D

So, no one sharing my thought? 🥺

@Tezonis im striving figuring out what you mean,is it 24 hrs graphs and lines of data in diagrams in postum, in situ or in progressum you ask for?on every layer?
im coming of age davis weatherlinker so i like the graphs and lines idea. so great idea for entrepeneuring dear tezonis.
windy is basicaly a forecaster, not a climatic data source so i guess the management says NOOOO!best regards

@Tezonis does not talk about climatic data !
He means showing several parameters forecast not only as a map but also as an additional graph at a location.@Tezonis said in Charts for all layers:
It's the ability show the data of all different layers on graphs, like in the basic forecast or meteogram when selecting a point on the map.

These graphs could be only available in browser version and for Premium users.
It would be a kind of additional meteograms to Basic, Meteogram, Airgram. A new graph for the same category of parameters for instance- Wind speed, wind direction (in degrees, cardinal, arrows), gusts, (Pressure)
In the same parameters category we could also have
- Temperature, dew points, wet bulb, solar power, UV
- Rain and snow as histogram, rain accumulation, drought
Etc…
And a little more complex, several model forecast like Meteoblue do with their Multimodel.

@idefix37 are you sure about that?

@Ørjan-P-Stien
Sure about what ? About @Tezonis’s request ? -
@idefix37 let tezoni clarify,im just sharing my thoughts courtously and as a fellow weather nerd answering his scream of dispear in his 2nd post...
idefix...no puns intended -
Hi guys,
I'm indeed talking about forecast, not climatic data 😁
@idefix37 got my point.Having this for Premium only would be acceptable for sure, and in browser version only too, if too complicated on mobile.
So yeah, basically having additional forecast graphs for other data already in Windy as map layers only (like humidity or UV index). And I'm saying graph (like for Temperature below), but a simple table could also be a good compromise I would say (like for Wind below).

@Tezonis ,thank you bud, for clarifying ... appreciate that alat
