Wind arrows incorrect direction and speed at different zoom in Android app

Hi, please see screen shots. As one zooms in or out, at certain scales the arrows change direction. It's not a problem with the underlying wind value for a point, that matches the various models, the display renders the direction arrows incorrectly at various scales. Sometimes a restart of the phone will temporarily fix the problem. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Kitkat 4.4.4

@stevecrye Ivo, I have new info. When the problem happens, restarting the phone fixes it for a while .

In these links, you can see the wind arrows change direction after zooming.
In this screen shot, notice the wind appears to be more southerly than 236 degrees:

Zooming in, the wind "comets" are shown correctly coming from 236 degrees:
