Does Windy plugin works with Google Maps or MapLibre technology ?

Our map technology is currently Google Maps and we are planning to change for MapLibre.
Will it be possible to integrate Windy weather layer with this two technologies ?

In the documentation, it only mentions Leaflet but I would like to know if other technologies (Gmaps and MapLibre) were also compatible -

The Windy plugin primarily works with Windy’s own map technology and does not natively integrate with Google Maps or MapLibre. For compatibility, you'd need to use Windy's specific tools and APIs.
