@Koss5
When the small heart is ON your favorites are displayed on the map. They don’t ?
To see and manage your list of Favorites, click on your profile picture. -
@idefix37 The small heart change the info shown on the map, but doesn't give me access to the forecast for favourites.
-
@Koss5 Click the profile icon in the top right corner.

@Koss5
When your favorites are shown on the map, click on them to see the forecast at the favorite location. -
@Teddy010101 Thanks, that is the shorter path than doing it thought big red button called "Menu". However your suggestion doesn't help if I am not logged in.
-
@idefix37 It's not easy to punch that smallish hearts on the map, at least with FullHD computer monitor.

@Flachkurbler Hi, the management or the leading team hasn't changed and the new update was made by still the same team of people, Windy founder included.
We already have collected all feedbacks and consider potential changes to the new UI.

Perhaps if there was a useable 'legend', it might help to understand what folks are looking at, but there isn't that basic tool, at least not that I could find. I have one map that I was able to put together and saved. It is the only Windy I now use.
-
@dariusmil the new interface is still crap
-
I more than don't like it either. Sail racers must be a small minority of users. The new interface makes windy much less usable for me.
I use windy for wind direction and velocity predictions to a good picture of what to expect while sail racing. It was reasonably easy to make a table which included 5 model predictions of wind direction, velocity, and gust for each hour on the water. Ideally after a little on the water I could decide which model best fit the day and make tactical decisions accordingly..
This interface makes my use much slower so that it makes it impractical to make a table for more than one model.

@ndhosford
You may not like the new interface of the web version. But I don't see why it is more difficult for you to “read” the wind speed and gusts at a location hour by hour as predicted by different models, to make a comparison table.Probably the missing point in this table is the wind direction expressed in degrees.

@Suty Maybe you all lost your collective minds at the same time?
The new interface is horrible.
