For years, while camping in the Florida Keys I've noticed that its forecast temps were several degrees low (routinely less than both actual temps and lower than other weather sources).

Purportedly, Windy is providing data from the selected models but actually visiting the source data (e.g. US NWS) indicates that isn't true.

I've tried to attach a screenshot of Windy's Marathon FL forecast based on the GFS model and screenshot from the NWS for the same location (Unfortunately, in spite Windy's direction to upload screenshots of bugs, there appears to be no way to do that).

As is routine, Windy's forecast temps are lower.
      Why!!!!

There is 100% a way to add screenshots.

If you're using the computer, click the upload image icon at the top of this window.

Alternatively, you can just copy and paste or drag and drop the image into your post window.

If you're using mobile, you have to swipe the top formatting bar to reveal the upload image icon.

I live in the ID Rocky's at 6,000' and find Windy's forecast temps to be as much as 9 degrees F off the mark - always low. Do not understand why Windy which offers great information and lots of it, cannot be more accurate.

Which weather model do you use in Windy? Is it the default model, the ECMWF model ? This model has a 9km-resolution so it can’t β€œsee” precisely temperature in high mountains.
Weather models have a rough topography and a medium resolution cannot help to forecast accurate temperature in mountains - Resolution is the distance between their grid points -
See an example showing what I mean with a different model but in mountain too:

But the best option is to use the METEOBLUE model. This Swiss model doesn't provide temperature forecasts on a grid of points that Windy then interpolates. It provides temperature forecasts at a specific location, at the correct altitude, but it's not possible to use them to draw a map. This model is therefore only available in the detailed forecast panel for a specific location.
