Sorry I can't imagine you could compile 20 years of hourly / daily wind forecasts to produce a statistical analysis for future ocean passages.
Have you tried using Pilots Charts? -

Radar and Satellite archive data needs that you click on the 3 dots in the mobile app.

Is there any way to go back more than 1 year? I'm looking for a radar image showing the south of Sweden on 20250622 at 1045 UTC.

I don't know how you do it, but I can't check the data going back 365 days, it's nonsense

More options -> Archive -> select the year, the month and the day

@idefix37 Do you know how or where I can download data, for example, for a year back for a location like a city? I want to install small wind turbines, 10kW-20kW, and calculate yields using the average wind speed for a given month.

I don’t think this is possible as no data can be downloaded from Windy.
And 365 days archive is only available for Radar and Satellite, not for Wind because this parameter is forecast not observation. -
