      For people who care about the wind force, such as sailors, the colour map used to show the average or gust speed is actually very hard to read, because shades of green/blue/yellow have indistinct boundaries. I think it would be better to assign clearly distinct colours to the first 8 points on the Beaufort scale (from red to blue spectrum), then assuming that you'll have run out of colours, reserve the end of the spectrum for a graded range of hues for Beaufort 9+.

        Also, you can customize it with the colors you want.
