    AROME: Suggestion of new layers!

      Hello!

      Thank you for adding the new AROME parameters for rain and snow accumulation. These new layers work seamlessly, and I appreciate your efforts in enhancing the platform

      Some sugestions of new layers of arome:

      • Refl Radar (simulation).
      • Humidity at 700hpa.
      • Wind at 925hpa
      • Windy at 700hpa.
      • JetStream at 300hpa
      • ISO 0 (altitude of freezing)
      • Geop 500hpa
      • ThetaE 850hpa
      • V.Ver 700hpa
      • VV2 700hpa

      All these layers are very useful for skydivers and weather enthusiasts. They are also valuable for weather prediction in areas where this model is available. I believe Windy’s efforts should now focus on graphic redesign and implementing features for high-precision models. Windy has great potential to explore. If these layers could be added to Windy, it would be incredible. Moreover, many of these layers already exist in Windy; it’s just a matter of enabling the use of the AROME model

        All your suggested new parameters are provided by AROME 2.5 km. The current version used by Windy is AROME 1.3 km. So it would need to have 2 versions of the same model.

          @idefix37 I understand that adding one more model should increase the computing time. It is interesting to have this on the other 2.5km model. The resolution is well. This could be discussed or post a feedback quest.
