@46er I am afraid that this will be related to some changes on your end in Chrome browser, since we can't replicate the issue.

Or, could be possible that you tested certain layer in Windy, where the altitude slide is not available? We don't provide this slider in all layers and it is greyed out in the rest. Please check.

It is not a problem for me, just something I noticed trying the various menu items.
