Suggestion for zoom in and out on favourites

I am just wondering if possible once I have put a favourite place in and it saves and I can get all the weather reports which is so cool. I’m a surfer/yachty I go to some obscure places, love everything about this app and the models are really great, I have passed onto many people I know and travel with.
The one thing that bugs me using on my iPhone is once I select favourite place and predictions, I try to zoom out to see the model but it selects another place and gives weather report, I don’t want this, just would like to zoom out and see the larger model. Is there a way that it can be stopped and as the model plays I can see the forecast of a favourite location with the table and the model? -

You can do that if you click on the 3 dots at bottom right of the forecast panel and leave “ Move the map….” unticked.
