Route Planner addition parameters

Dear All, Good day

It is suggested that route planner should be enhanced with below characteristics for boat options
-Start Point of the voyage with specific date
-Intermediate edit of time for the waypoints and able to adjust speed at each waypoint
-End point of the voyage with specific date

The above characteristics will assist a seafarer to analyze weather forecast according to voyage parameters (speed and dates at specific place, at specific time) to avoid significant bad weather conditions.

Hi,

• You can already choose your departure date at start point as you want by scrolling the dates. Here shown in the browser version.
• You are right, allowing to adjust the speed leg by leg (between waypoints) should greatly useful for a sail boat. Speed is different according to the wind angle.
• Same you can choose too your arrival date at end point by scrolling the dates.
