Settings as parameters in URL

Hi all,

I'm wondering if there is a way to set the graphics compatibility setting or disabling the particle animation via the URL, similar to the way lat/long, zoom level and layer type often appear.

We are looking to put Windy TV up on a TV using a screen management solution that pretty much just takes a URL but it doesn't perform great.
