IOS/Mac Apple Silicon App Compatibility
-
Hi Folks,
I learned to fly in 1975 and as the originator of this site is well aware, as part of our primary training, we learn about the atmospheric dynamics that can do bad things to light aircraft. From that training, I developed an intense interest in meteorology. In those pre internet days, we got our news aviation weather products on paper through a teletype machine. As the internet has evolved, a plethora of both paid and public weather data have become available. I recently became aware of windy and was so impressed that I immediately purchased a one year subscription.Your IOS app has a much better interface than your web interface. I spend most of my time within reach of my 24 inch M1 desktop, which has an exponentially better display than my iPad. Is there any chance of making your IOS app available on the Mac App Store? It is my understanding that most IOS apps will run on M* silicon and I have several IOS apps that run without problems on my iMac.
Thanks,
Jeff Field

@fieldj Unfortunately, it is not planned. We used to offer this app, but our product team agreed to stop work on this.
