      Strange behaviour - I've been using this forum on Microsoft Edge for years now and it's performance has decreased since the forum update.

      1. it's a lot slower and sometimes I have to refresh multiple times to reply to a post or post a new topic.
      2. Within a topic, I can no longer hover over a post's likes and see who liked it.
      3. Notification Bell at the top doesn't seem to update properly or like it used to.
      4. Within a topic, the page down button doesn't work for me, only page up once I scroll to the bottom of the page.

      These are the things I remember in this moment.

        @Wheats ,hi, its like being invalide when daily routines becomes cluttered like that .many users experience some kinda issues after the big turnover.if everyone had raised their voice due to difficulties on the forum and site, it would be a heck of a roar,search me...

        maybe an alternative browser will solve things for you,allthough i bet my life that you are an edge fanatic as im into chrome ( i used to be a firefox'er).

        good luck, i hope the management do give you 100% attention to your problems.

          Thanks, I agree with everything you've said... I've expressed my dislike for the new UI multiple times starting from when they changed it on mobile.
          Also I am definitely not an edge fanatic so save that bet my friend. I use it because Chrome has my premium account signed in and I don't wanna sign out and sign in and blah blah blah haha. I just want it to work efficiently like it did before - wouldn't that be cool?

            A new issue.
            I attempt to create a chat room in the private chat area and when attempting to type in a user to add I see a few of these errors popup on the side of the screen.

              @Wheats hi, im kinda forbidden (have been warned twice) on the community due to my ironics and not always wellplaced and tasteless humour. its not morbid,i just moose controll of my fangs, so bear over with me , no harm intended.

              so i bet you cant pivate chat with me, you would probavbly quit quite quickly anyway due to my slow answering and use long time to write mousing over the onscreen tabular.

              so who youve been trying to chat with must be a source of dangerous intents, since you are forbidden access...

                I can reply to private chats but can't create a room - for every letter I type I get that error message pop up on the side of my screen.

                I don't think it has anything to do with my behaviour on the forum lol - I could be wrong of course.

                I didn't interpret your comment as harmful at all - all good here. I was just trying to save your life because I don't enjoy Edge hahaha

                  we were indeed dealing with some performance issues after the upgrade, but now it seems to be working fine.

                  The problems you are experiencing seems to be related with sockets. It's possible that something is blocking them, whether is it a browser settings (Brave) or some adblocking extensions. I will try to check those features on a Microsoft Edge browser.

                  In the meanwhile, can you please check if there are some Javascript console logs in the browser? That would help me to track down the potentional issue.

                    Hi, I’m still encountering the same issue since the last update. There is no way to explore my old post by specifying my user name. Same with any other username. I get these black rectangles. This makes difficult to recover old posts.
