Windy freezes on pixel 8

Latest version freezes on pixel8 with latest Android. Uninstalled and reinstalled and totally frozen on opening screen.

@Suty Same here, freezes shortly after showing the map for a few seconds. Application not responding pops up.
Windy 42.1.4
Pixel 8, Android 14, AP1A.240305.019.A1Reinstall did not help.

@Suty I'm experiencing the same thing with Pixel 8 Pro, Android 14 AP1A.240405.002.B1 on Windy 42.1.4. I'm able to get the app working again after clearing app storage, but eventually I run into the same problem. Clearing cache isn't enough, and I'm not sure how long before the app gets into the frozen state again

I'm trying the app on Pixel 8 pro but it works fine so far. What does the freeze look like? Does the application get stuck on the splash screen, or does it start (you see the map) and then you can't interact with it? I think it might be a storage problem. In the last version, we added storage migration for better security, and I think this is what causes it.
Could you please try clearing the app data, then the app, restart the device and then install the latest version? -
After closer examination, I found that the Pois layer of the Airport is the problem. Does anyone use it?
If so, try switching or turning Pois off completely. We are working on a solution.
