@mahop Hi, the temperature shown on the Satellite layer is the temperature of cloud tops. So it gives an idea of the altitude of clouds tops.

@Suty The cloud top layer seems generated from model-data, (ECMWF only?).
Could You grep real altitude from the satellite-data and add it to the picker? -

Cloud tops layer is forecast for future hours/days.
Satellite is observation from current and past hours/days.
It’s not relevant to mix them. -

There is no direct relationship between the cloud tops temperature and the real altitude. It varies with the latitude.
