I would like to have the weather animation scroll through the days and hours MUCH more quickly.
I'm only wishing for faster animation, like Fast Foreword would be. Hopefully it could maintain the beautiful quality.
I'm well satisfied with the speed that the data and things load, this is just a display rate wish.

It would be when I am showing the forecast screen to friends, colleagues and Shipmates and the middle school students aboard the Tall Ships of Los Angeles Maritime Institute !

It is a fantastic program with several Ships dedicated to teaching critical thinking, teamwork strength kindness and how amazing the world becomes when a kid learns that THEY can figure out almost anything with a little STEM guidance !

It's a brilliant program because the kids are not "taught" in school like ways, but rather develop curious questions (hundreds of questions! ) and we are sounding boards to assist them in figuring out what information they need to know and what techniques they need to figure out to get to their answers !

A faster animation would keep their attention at that blazing pitch !

@747Larry I'd be happy to have longer period between displayed forecasts to do this. e.g ever 4hrs, 6hrs or even 12hrs so I do a quick review of the week ahead. We can filling in the gaps in our heads.
For me a set of 3 button options for courseness would be fine. (similar to rain accumulation periods). cheers from NZ.

📸 In the CHDK project we use scripted keypresses to control an old Canon camera.
I could imagine a loop like

          repeat
          printscreen(layer)
          sleep(delay)
          click (">")
          until done
