Altitude slider no longer appearing on desktop

The slider to select what altitude to show for wind/gusts ect. is no longer displaying on desktop/browsder. It is still working on the app. How come?

What to do if the plane button is visible but inactive(grey gets not activated when hoovering over it and you cannot click it?

This slider is not active with every layer. Only with Wind, Temperature, Humidity, Dew point. But not with all models.
