      Where can i find information to best explain the levels of NO2 SO2 aerosol CO2 so that i understand when they are not safe where i live.Thank you.

        If you mean NO2, SO2, Aerosol, CO layers (there is no CO2 layer in Windy), most of these data at not at ground level but in high levels in the atmosphere.
        So you better rely on the Air quality stations which provide several pollutants amounts. And finally check the Air quality index which tells you if the air quality good or not for you.

        In this example in the mobile app the Air quality index is good despite there is a high level of SO2 aloft.
