How to set default forecast model?

Hi, I am wondering if it is possible to change the default forecast model. I have selected NAM in the hamburger menu but if the app is closed and reopened it reverts back to ECMWF. I am hoping it is possible to get the model to stick while I am staying in a particular region, and to feed apple watch the best forecast for that region.

Hi, it does not work if you leave the app when Radar or Satellite are displayed, if you switch to an other model or if you open the app with the widget. -
@baidarkabob I find this reverting back to ECMWF very frustrating. I am a pilot and instructor and recommended this app to everyone, but, part of my demonstration is to constantly hit the Hamburger, flicking to the bottom and selecting UKV (I'm in UK) a real pain. This app is amazing and would be even more amazinger if a default model would 'Stick'. How could this be implemented???

In Settings select Use last overlay when the a UKV layer is at screen.
Here an example with GFS:
It works if you stay on UKV when leaving the app. Note that Radar and Satellite make to switch to ECMWF.

@idefix37 thank you for your suggestion,but, that's not quite what I'm after. If one then goes on to select Radar and then back to forecast Rain the software selects ECMWF. I would like it to select UKV. I wonder how to make this happen?
