Make radar forecast optional

I welcomed the introduction of radar forecast, since I'm sure lots of users were missing this option - and it's a great animation and implementation.
However, as a more scientifically-minded user I would actually prefer to deactivate the feature for myself. I usually move the slider back and forth to analyze how precipitation is moving and developing, and mentally extrapolate from there. I find it harder to do that now, because I have to keep a close eye on the slider to check that I don't go beyond the current time and end up in the red half of the bar.
An option in the Settings to activate/deactivate radar forecast would be perfect for me. I wonder how others see this.

I agree with this. I would love to see an option to allow users to remove this portion of the slider from view. -
I fully support this suggestion to be able to toggle the rainradar forecast on/off. In my area it has never proven to be correct. I would rather have the full history slider back!
Otherwise a great app for a Premium user!
